Founders Award 2003-2004
The Almonte Civitan Club was awarded the Founders Award for 2003-2004.
This award, now called The Courtney Shropshire Outstanding Civitan Club Award, is the highest award presented to a club by Civitan International and is very prestigious. It is awarded annually to the most accomplished Civitan club in the areas of community service, charitable activities, and overall club involvement and fellowship.

District Honour Key
Several Almonte Civitan members have been awarded The District Honour Key.

The highest honour in our district, this award is presented a Civitan member who has performed outstanding service to Civitan Canadian District East over a period of years.

Several of our Presidents have led the Almonte Civitan Club to achieve the award of Honour Club within Canadian District East under their leadership.

Club Honour Key
This award is the highest award presented at the club level.
Awarded for outstanding service to the Club. This award is not necessarily presented each year.
Mandatory requirements for this award are as follows:
Must be a Club member in good standing for the last five completed years.
Must have held an executive position within the club, including Hall Committee, for three years.
Must be a holder of the “Civitan of the Year” award.
Must have chaired at least one Club project judged as a significant Club project.
Must have chaired or actively participated in at least three projects in the last Civitan year.
Must have always demonstrated the ideals of Civitan, practising service, fellowship and knowledge.
Must have shown to be dependable for working on Club projects during the past year
as judged by the Awards Committee.
