Almonte Civitan Club lead the way
The Almonte Civitan Club has committed to being a Platinum Sponsor for the 11th Annual Almonte General Hospital Summer Golf Classic. The commitment makes the local Civitan Club a major sponsor for the next 2 years.
The tournament will be held at the Canadian Golf and Country Club on Friday, June 21. Tournament organizers hope to raise more than $100,000 for the second year in a row.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you to the Almonte Civitan Club,” said Almonte General Hospital/Fairview Manor Foundation (AGH/FVM) Executive Director Gerry Huddleston. “This is fantastic news for the residents of the community because the money goes directly to help purchase patient care equipment.”
The Almonte Civitan Club, the Community Platinum Sponsor, has made an outstanding commitment to the tournament of $20,000 over the next two years.
“It’s a fabulous gift from Civitan members who work extremely hard to raise money in the community to fund worthwhile community causes,” said Mr. Huddleston. “Civitan members have donated money for essential medical equipment, gave $30,000 for the AGH/FVM Redevelopment Project and will soon hit the $100,000 mark on our donor wall.”
Tournament organizers are thrilled to be working with Civitan President Ross Munro, the Civitan Executive and the hard-working members of the club.
