The Almonte Civitan Club is currently taking orders for their very successful, Christmas Pie Day.
For the past few years, Civitan members take orders for and custom make, by hand, a variety of 10″ deep dish pies as a fund raising event. Event Chairperson, Cindy FitzPatrick has requested that the Almonte Civitan Club allocated profits from the 2 pie days (Apple Pie Day in September and this Christmas Pie day) to Camp Quality of Eastern Ontario. In the past 2 years, the Pie Day efforts have donated over $9000 to Support Kids with Cancer at Camp Quality
Camp Quality is.. a summer camp for children with cancer — and offers a year round mentoring program to assist their families in many ways.
