Long time Almonte Civitan member, Ross Munro, was elected International Director for Region 5 in July 2009 at the International Convention in Las Vegas Nevada.
During his 2 year term, Civitan Ross will represent all Canadian Civitan clubs on the International Board. The head office of Civitan International is located in Burmingham Alabama and he will be responsible to attend meetings there as well as participate in many conference calls. He will bring the voice and concerns of Canadian clubs to the international body as well as bring information from International back to Canada.
His term of office began on the first day of October 2009 and will serve until the end of September 2011.
